How It Works

You need to rejoin or restart the server for the datapack to load properly

  • You won’t automatically wake up --> you have to stand up manually

  • If you sleep during the day, time will skip to night

    • To skip back to day, you or another player must start sleeping again

  • After skipping from night to day, there’s a cooldown before you can skip the day again

Which Minecraft versions does Sleep Anytime You Want support?
Sleep Anytime You Want supports Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.6 - 26.3. It does not work on Bedrock Edition.
Do I need Fabric or Forge for Sleep Anytime You Want?
No. Sleep Anytime You Want is a datapack, so it works in vanilla Minecraft without any mod loader. If you prefer, it is also available as a mod for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt and a plugin for Paper and Purpur.
Does Sleep Anytime You Want work on servers and in multiplayer?
Yes. Datapacks run on the server, so it works in singleplayer, on multiplayer servers and in LAN worlds. Players do not need to install anything.
How do I install the Sleep Anytime You Want datapack?
Download the datapack zip from Modrinth or CurseForge, put it into the datapacks folder of your world (saves/<world>/datapacks), then run /reload or restart the world. For a new world, you can also add it on the Data Packs screen while creating the world.
Is Sleep Anytime You Want free?
Yes. Sleep Anytime You Want is free and open source under the MIT License. The source code is on Codeberg.
