Which Minecraft versions does Too Expensive Removed support?
Too Expensive Removed supports Minecraft Java Edition 1.21 - 26.3. It does not work on Bedrock Edition.
Do I need Fabric or Forge for Too Expensive Removed?
No. Too Expensive Removed is a datapack, so it works in vanilla Minecraft without any mod loader. If you prefer, it is also available as a mod for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt and a plugin for Paper and Purpur.
Does Too Expensive Removed work on servers and in multiplayer?
Yes. Datapacks run on the server, so it works in singleplayer, on multiplayer servers and in LAN worlds. Players do not need to install anything.
How do I install the Too Expensive Removed datapack?
Download the datapack zip from Modrinth or CurseForge, put it into the datapacks folder of your world (saves/<world>/datapacks), then run /reload or restart the world. For a new world, you can also add it on the Data Packs screen while creating the world.
Is Too Expensive Removed free?
Yes. Too Expensive Removed is free and open source under the MIT License. The source code is on Codeberg.
