Which Minecraft versions does Name Tag (Craft & Drops) support?

Name Tag (Craft & Drops) supports Minecraft Java Edition 1.21 - 26.3. It does not work on Bedrock Edition.

Do I need Fabric or Forge for Name Tag (Craft & Drops)?

No. Name Tag (Craft & Drops) is a datapack, so it works in vanilla Minecraft without any mod loader. If you prefer, it is also available as a mod for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt.

Does Name Tag (Craft & Drops) work on servers and in multiplayer?

Yes. Datapacks run on the server, so it works in singleplayer, on multiplayer servers and in LAN worlds. Players do not need to install anything.

How do I install the Name Tag (Craft & Drops) datapack?

Download the datapack zip from Modrinth or CurseForge, put it into the datapacks folder of your world (saves/<world>/datapacks), then run /reload or restart the world. For a new world, you can also add it on the Data Packs screen while creating the world.
