Easily call your dog with a goat horn whenever you need it

The dog can be anywhere, it always works to teleport it to you, even in unloaded chunks

There's currently a bug, where if the dog you want to call is too far away it will be invisible after the teleport

--> to fix that you have to rejoin the game

How it works

1. Tame a dog

2. Give the dog any name (it can not include special characters like # or ')

3. Hold any goat horn you want in your hand

4. Sneak and look at the dog for 4 seconds

4. You will then get a horn that looks enchanted and has the name of the dog

5. Whenever you use the horn, it will teleport to you

--> Only the owner of the dog can get the goat horn + use the goat horn to call the dog

General questions

Which Minecraft versions does Call Your Dog support?
Call Your Dog supports Minecraft Java Edition 1.21 - 26.3. It does not work on Bedrock Edition.
Do I need Fabric or Forge for Call Your Dog?
No. Call Your Dog is a datapack, so it works in vanilla Minecraft without any mod loader. If you prefer, it is also available as a mod for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt and a plugin for Paper and Purpur.
Does Call Your Dog work on servers and in multiplayer?
Yes. Datapacks run on the server, so it works in singleplayer, on multiplayer servers and in LAN worlds. Players do not need to install anything.
How do I install the Call Your Dog datapack?
Download the datapack zip from Modrinth or CurseForge, put it into the datapacks folder of your world (saves/<world>/datapacks), then run /reload or restart the world. For a new world, you can also add it on the Data Packs screen while creating the world.
Is Call Your Dog free?
Yes. Call Your Dog is free and open source under the MIT License. The source code is on Codeberg.
