Channeling works without thunderstorms
The trident needs to have the channeling enchantment
You have to hit an entity, if the entity dies by hitting it, there wont be a lightning

- Trident All Weather Channeling supports Minecraft Java Edition 1.20.4 - 26.3. It does not work on Bedrock Edition.
- Do I need Fabric or Forge for Trident All Weather Channeling?
- No. Trident All Weather Channeling is a datapack, so it works in vanilla Minecraft without any mod loader. If you prefer, it is also available as a mod for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt and a plugin for Paper and Purpur.
- Does Trident All Weather Channeling work on servers and in multiplayer?
- Yes. Datapacks run on the server, so it works in singleplayer, on multiplayer servers and in LAN worlds. Players do not need to install anything.
- How do I install the Trident All Weather Channeling datapack?
- Download the datapack zip from Modrinth or CurseForge, put it into the datapacks folder of your world (saves/<world>/datapacks), then run /reload or restart the world. For a new world, you can also add it on the Data Packs screen while creating the world.
